Przewalski's Gazelle Procapra przewalskii (Critically Endangered) is endemic to China. Threats include habitat loss, competition with livestock for food, and blocked migration routes. Fewer than 250 of these timid antelopes remain and the species' future is uncertain as continuing habitat degradation, wolf predation and inbreeding are causing further declines.
